My interview to SBT TV at Cannes Lions Festival 2013 - What makes BRAZILIAN CREATIVITY Unique. My "anthropological point of view. (Please see translation into English below)

BRAZILIAN CULTURE:

We are passionate about what’s new, we embrace it more than anyone,

we get it, we blend it and return it back to the world.

Here is the translation in English:

There's something that only Brazilians have, something that is absolutely connected to our culture. And this will not change for several generations.

We are passionate about what’s new, we embrace it more than anyone, we get it, we blend it and return it back to the world.

So, we have the capacity to deal with what’s new and embrace what comes from the outside, sometimes with such an excessive glare, that we end up making it easy to the world to understand our language.

We make our language spread faster around the world. We get straight to the point, we are spontaneous.

We also have an issue, related to our lack of limits, of being absolutely at ease and saying whatever we think or feel.  We suffer sometimes because of it, but we are very provocative, so we end up being also very unique.

Brazil was colonized by Portugal, but, to be truth, the Portuguese court kind of fled to Brazil, so we are a colony without limits. And because of that, we have the capacity to be truly part of the world, to be part of our land, to be a lot of things at once, mixing it all well and returning it back to the world.

Because of that, our creativity is original and has survived crises and pressure like no other, because in fact, we live smiling at it.

Well…  this is Brazil, right?
