Thinking about messiness is so difficult for the orderly mind; it loves precision. And yet, the orderliness which that mind is drawn to is a result of post facto reflection. Purposeful perception, understanding and action are real time activities that utilize both ordered and unordered information. Along with her/his cultural acumen, the CCO must also introduce this new epistemological balance to the corporation, helping its members to trust that other, messier, aspect of their life-world.
